Clifford Road PTA are a group of parents and staff who meet to raise funds for the school.
We meet once a month, at 7pm in the staff room, during school term-time. All parents, carers and members of staff are eligible to join and attend meetings. A regular newsletter, the 'Chatterbox', is issued to tell everyone about activities, events and meeting dates. Activities have included the Summer and Christmas Fayres, various shopping trips, discos, ice-skating, jumble sales and craft events (including the very popular mother's day and father's day gift stalls).
Over the years the PTA has made a huge contribution to the education of the children at our school through the provision of extra funding and by enabling parents to be more involved with school life.
We always need more volunteers to be a part of the PTA, and coming along to the meetings does not mean you are under any obligation to do anything! It's always great to see new faces and hear fresh ideas, so please come along and join us!
