This week's question is in response to Refugee Week
The theme of Refugee Week 2019, ‘You, me and those who came before’, is an invitation to explore the lives of refugees – and those who have welcomed them – throughout the generations.
Our question to talk about this week is:
What makes a community?
The Recycle Awareness Week campaign claims that last year Britain woke up to recycling.
The campaign will run from 23rd to 29th September.
In preparation for this, we have been thinking about reducing the amount we throw away.
Our question for you to discuss at home is:
Should we only swap mobile phones when they are broken beyond repair?
Did you know that the official title of World Book Day is actually World Book and Copyright Day and it is observed by all UN Member States on 23rd April every year?
At the end of last term we celebrated World Book day and our first theme for P4C this term looks at the 'Copyright' part of the day.
Our question for you to talk about is:
If you stand and read a comic in a shop, then don't buy it, is that stealing?
We would love to hear about any discussions you have at home about this.
