Clifford Road Primary Wellbeing Weeks
Clifford Road Primary Wellbeing Weeks take place every September. This coincides with National Fitness Day, which is also in September.
During this week, all children have the opportunity to experience a variety of enrichment activities to increase their general physical and mental wellbeing.
Some of the activities organised during the weeks have included: traditional Indian dance, archery, tai chi, fitness training, fencing, singing, parachute games, dance and healthy eating workshops.
We also work with One Life Suffolk who help the children understand how to make healthy choices.
During our English lessons we focus on specially selected books that have a wellbeing message and we promote how reading for pleasure can have a positive effect on our mental wellbeing. Children are encouraged to visit our library at lunchtimes and enjoy wellbeing themed stories and activities.
