Pupil Parliament

At Clifford Community School, we believe that every child’s voice matters. Our Pupil Parliament is made up of two representatives from each year group, who are elected by their classmates at the beginning of each academic year. This gives all pupils the opportunity to take part in a democratic process and choose children they feel will represent their views and ideas.

The Pupil Parliament meets regularly to discuss ways to improve school life, celebrate successes, and share suggestions from their classmates. Members work closely with staff to help make positive changes, organise events, support fundraising activities, and contribute to the wider school community.

Being part of the Pupil Parliament helps children develop confidence, leadership, communication, and teamwork skills. It also encourages them to take responsibility and understand how they can make a difference.

Through our Pupil Parliament, we aim to ensure that every pupil feels listened to, valued, and proud to play a part in shaping life at Clifford Community School.
