Dance
We performed at Dance East as part of the Hullabaloo22 Schools Celebration at on Thursday 9 June. Our dance teacher, Denise Powling Roles, worked with 14 children from years 3 and 6 using the theme ‘Tell Your Story’. The children brought in special objects and shared the stories behind these. They uses these stories to create a very powerful and moving dance called 'What Makes us Tick'.
What Makes us Tick?
On 10th March, year 5 children spent the day at Dance East for a 'Discover in a Day' dance workshop. The dance was all inspired by our work on the second world war and the school's air raid shelter museum. The classes worked separately and then shared their dance to each other. As well as thoroughly enjoying the day, the children also achieved a Discover level Arts Award.
