Nursery Places September 2020
We are pleased to accept applications for places in our nursery starting September 2020 and beyond. Places are available for children in the term after their third birthday. A session is run for three hours every day in the morning during term-time. Please contact the school to talk to the nursery teacher and to arrange a visit on 01473 251605.
We hope that you all are keeping well and enjoying the sunshine. Thank you for continuing to keep in touch and sending us pictures of some of the lovely things that you have been doing at home. We often think about you and wonder how you are getting on.
This week we are getting the nursery ready for when the school opens on 1st June. We are making sure that everything is clean and ready for the children to play with when they are able to join us again.
Please don't hesitate to get in touch if there is anything that we can help you with.
Love from Mrs. Fisher, Catherine, Linda and Kellyxxxx
We hope you all are keeping happy and well. We have enjoyed looking at the pictures that some of you have sent us to show what you have been doing while you are at home. It is always good to hearing about what you have been doing with your families. We have added some more ideas for activities to try at home. Hope you have fun trying them.
All the staff in the nursery miss you very much and look forward to seeing you as soon as we are able to do so.

While we are not at school, it is important to keep active, both for our physical health and our brain health. Remember, little and often is best, get out in the fresh air too if you can. Attached is a list of great links to help get you moving (keep checking back as new ones will be added). Parents, you can join in too, no one is watching!
Let us know how you have been getting on, or send a photo/video to firstname.lastname@example.org

Science Week in the Nursery 2020
The children had fun exploring a variety of different materials during Science Week. They particularly enjoyed putting their hands into a mixture of cornflour and water, especially when colours were added to the mixture! They used water and salt to help to make some ice balloons melt so they could see what was inside them. Hand lenses were used so that the children could look closely at the ice. In the garden the children experimented with bubbles. We all had a busy and exciting week.
Stay and Play in the Nursery
We regularly have sessions where parents and younger brothers or sisters can 'stay and play' in the Nursery. These events often have a theme. This time we had a 'Stay and Play Pancake Day'. Pancakes and delicious toppings were enjoyed by all!
Literacy and Language in the Nursery
There are lots of opportunities to develop literacy and language skills in the nursery...
