Welcome back to Clifford Road Primary School - how we've missed you! Miss Rivett and I are so excited to get started and have already begun to get to know your lovely children. Below are a few "housekeeping" points which will help to make the new routines run smoothly. There may be a few hiccups along the way but bear with us and we will iron out the wrinkles as we go.
Please limit what children bring from home. This helps us to keep surfaces clear and therefore easier to clean. We have provided pencil cases for each child with all the stationery they will need.
Please make sure any outdoor clothing (gloves etc) will fit in pockets or on pegs. No PE bags are needed as the children will wear their kit all day on their PE days. PE is on a Wednesday. As the weather turns colder, please make sure your children have appropriate outdoor kit as they will be outside as much as possible, in line with government guidance. To make things easier for you, all Year Four sports clubs will also be on a Wednesday.
At the moment, we are not sending homework on paper. We are looking at setting this digitally and we will update you when we are ready to go. The Reading Challenge will run as normal. Please read with or to your child regularly (and record this in their Reading Challenge booklets) as they can get fifty extra credits per week by doing this. It is not possible to complete the challenge without regular home reading.
Thank you for your support

Have you seen this? This is a great website with a suggested daily timetable, videos, games and activities especially for your year group. Some of it may seem familiar, as I have used resources from their teacher collection on the website too. We hope you enjoy it.
