Thursday morning was spent on the beach. We built sandcastles and rock towers, searched for fossils and played cricket and football. In the afternoon, we were back on site for activities including climbing, aeroball and shelter building. Mr Emmett tested whether the shelters were waterproof with mixed results! After dinner and our camp reflection, we finished our evening with a night walk to the top of Beeston Bump.
Wednesday was another day of non-stop action. We climbed, we raced, we built fires and shot arrows! And to top it all off, Wednesday night was disco night.
After a good night's sleep (for some!) we had our first full day of activities and it was action packed! From zip lines to buggy building; finishing with a campfire, hot chocolate and a sing song - it certainly was a busy day.
Following our arrival at Kingswood, West Runton, the children had time to unpack and explore their dorms before the activities started!
